Disc Springs

This electronic publication is based on the German title Tellerfedern (ISBN 978-3-86236-091-8) which was first published in 2015 as volume number 381 of the book series Die Bibliothek der Technik, edited by SZ Scala GmbH, Munich. It describes the principle of operation of disc springs as well as the layering possibilities of single disc springs to form spring stacks. Further sections deal with the manufacture, the construction materials employed as well as the most important processes to protect against corrosion.
